 Dr. Mary Bates, CEO, has a PHD in Counseling Education and is the CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Santa Rosa and operates five clubs in Santa Rosa, the Central Club, 2 in the Roseland area, one in Northwest Santa Rosa and one in South Santa Rosa. She has worked with the Mayor’s Task Force for Gang Prevention and Intervention.At the same time Dr. Bates has worked tirelessly in the community & the organization to help the youth in our community to grow in a positive direction as the President of the Wine Country Chapter of Association of Boys & Girls Club Professionals and the President of the Association of Sonoma County Boys & Girls Clubs. She has served as an Agency Chair for the United Way Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma Counties and is a Board Member of the Santa Rosa East Rotary Club and the Soroptimist International of Santa Rosa. Dr. Bates has also authored several manuals to help instructors & professionals work with kids in colleges & high schools. |
